SQL Server Analysis Services Business Objects XI Universe

We are trying to leverage some data cubes from our Microsoft SQL Analysis Server 2005 to be used in our Business Objects XI R2 universe.  However, it seems that BO XIR2 does not support SSAS 2005.  Does anyone know if this is true and if there are any work arounds?
