My remote users could not log into my exchange using OUTLOOK 2003 (from outside). their exchange Proxy settings are configured correctly.
The problem i think is on the IIS manager on our Exchange 2003 Server. One of my IT guys might have inadvertently changed something on the IIS Manager - Default Web site - Directory Security - Authentication and access control - Edit. in one of the folders - Xxadmin, Exchange, Exchweb, ..and so forth
I managed to figure out how to get the OWA access from outside back up and running. Remote users can log on via OWA but they could no longer use their Outlook. The Log on Prompt appears as they open their outlook and they log on as domin\username and their password. But when they put their password, the prompt just appears again.
I've restarted the IIS manager and all services that runs with it.
