Create Maintenance plans in SQL Server 2005

I cant create maintenance plans in SQL Server 2005. I can se the Mainteance plans folder in SQL Server Management Server Studio Express / Object Explorer. But when i right click to create a new maintenance plan I just see Reports

I have installed SSIS

sql 2005 express does not include the sql agent, so you won't be able to use the built-in maintenance snap-in. but you can use stored procedures to accomplish much of the same thing. have a look at
