delete a DetailsView row in DetailsView.PreRender

How might it be possible to delete a DetailsView row in DetailsView.PreRender?

Any suggestions on this would be appreciated.

I haven't try this ,  
why you will to do this
maybe you can delete a row on DataBinding

what might that syntax look like?  

I can probably detect which row it is that I want to delete, I'm just not sure how to "not write" the row in Databinding.  That would have the effect of "deleting" it.
