Backup solution for Mac Server for 500 GB of data

Hello there,
I am in need to deploy a backup solution for one of our mac server. I am looking to backup 500 GB approximately. I am looking for solution as a storage (NAS/TAPE DRIVE/STORAGE SERVER) and also if you can suggest me which is the good software to back it up on network (ip based backup or Mac itself).
