Windows Media Player Error

I have the latest version of Windows Media Player but whenever I try to play some video files, I get an error which simply wants to report to Microsoft.

The error signature shows that the APPVer is 11.0.5721.5145 and the Offset is e8505100

Any ideas on how I can solve this annoying problem with Windows Media Player?

Appreciate the help,

JH
