Is it possible to search the entire information store in Exchange 2000 to locate a message by keywords?  When some users leave, their accounts are not deleted because they may have important client information.  In many cases, it's impossible to determine which user mailbox to select.

Exmerge will let you search by subject, other than that, you will need to rely on third party tools (or doing it manually).

I suppose, if you wanted to live life on the edge, you could do a full text search of the M:\  although, let me make it clear, this is not a good idea - the M:\ in general was a bad idea, and leaving it enabled, re-enabling it, or going anywhere near it is just asking for trouble
