Windows XP Media Center...<br />
Not being able to go to Safe Mode to clean Virus - brontok.e<br />

I Installed brontcli.exe brontgui.exe , NOD32 , Kaspersky...<br />
but to no avail.. I need to be able to go to safe mode...<br />
whenever I try it, it hangs on mup.sys and stays there for more than 20min...<br />
there is a disk activity... but I doubt it should take that much....<br />
I tried Trinity Rescue Kit... but didnt work...<br />
I m looking for an Antivirus that would be loaded from a CD and bypass the operating system,,,<br />

please help.<br />

PS. the system is starting in normal mode... but I am unable to clean the viruses.<br />
