What browser gives you the horizontal scroll bar? I tested it in IE 7 and Firefox 1.5 and there is no horizontal scroll bar.

The code for the DIV that scrolls is messed up.  It says:

<div style="overflow:auto; height:300px; width:350..........................................................................................................................0px;">

(spaces replaced by dots to illustrate my point)...

which should be just:

<div style="overflow:auto; height:300px; width:350px">

That was it thanks so much I appreciate the help. What would the 0px actully do? Is that or the space I had in there the cause of the left to right scroll bar?

The space won't do anything, it just gets ignored.  The problem is that the browser will just join it together and read
  ... width:350 0px
which will just get ignored because it cannot be interpreted correctly.
