Internal Email Bounceback with Exchange 2003

Network environment is Exchange 2003 with SP2.  Two users are running Outlook 2003 iand are getting the following error message:

This message could not be sent. Try sending the message again later, or contact your network administrator. The client operation failed. Error is [0x80040304-0x80040304-0x000501].

What could be the cause and what is the fix?

Its a MAPI error.
If it isn't happening to all accounts, I would suspect either the account, or something in the account.

As it follows the users and follows to OWA, I would be looking to recreate the account after exporting the data. Before importing again see if the problem continues. If it does not, then import the data. If the problem then occurs it is a content problem.

Does the problem follow the user to another machine? To OWA?
