A friend is looking to buy an airport card for her iBook G4 laptop. Based on a quick search, it seems that the original airport card is only compatible with some ibooks while the airport extreme is compatible with others. Can someone help? I need to know which card to get.

(the laptop is running OSX 10.3 if that makes a difference)

Check your iBook model, if they are G4, should be compatible with Airport Extreme (http://support.apple.com/specs/ibook/iBook_G4.html).
