A missing index can be caused by not being able to index one of the fields that are being used as a key field in a relationship. A global cannot be indexed nor can an unstored value. Unstored calculated values will be any calculated field that is dependent on a global, a related field, or another unstored value.

Create a sum field in Products total=Sum(invoice data::price)

You can then show this field either on the products page or within the portal on the appropriate portal line of the invoices layout.
