How to open a specific page of a TIF file in javascript.

I have a situation to open a .TIF file. But the problem is the .TIF file can contain multiple pages inside it.  If i want to open a particuler page what to do?? I want to accomplish this task using javascript. For example i have TIFF file which contained 8 pages, and i want to open 5th page, how to do??

Take a look at this java applet:
 http://www.acordex.com/vtj/VTJspec.html

It will allow you to dislpay tiff files on your webpage and specify the page to be displayed.
