Hi,

Does anybody know if it is possible to get a compatibility list of laptops that use a certain model lcd screen.  I recently was able to get a good deal on a few AU Optronics B154ew02 V.1 15.4" LCD's.  I would like to try to sell them but I am worried about compatibility.  One list that I saw for these lcd's had the Inspiron 6000 listed.  I had an Inspiron 6000 so I popped one of the new lcd's in and it fits and looks beautiful...Great Picture.  There do seem to be some issues with the brackets top/bottom matching up with the new lcd.  Also all the original screws with my Inspiron 6000 are too large for the holes in the new LCD.

I noticed that in addition to the model number and version number of the laptop LCD there is also a Hardware Version (H/W:0A) and a Firmware Version (F/W:1).  I was wondering what bearing this has on what laptops the lcd can fit in.  I don't have a lot of experience with laptop LCD's so I would appreciate any help/information that you guys can provide me.

Thanks,
