My App has worked fine on XP / 2000 for several years under MSJava (J++ / WJView) in English.
However when Windows is switched to German mode I get the following error message at startup:

Fehler: java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: com./ms/wfc/core/WFCSystemException
as a popup window and execution ends when OK is clicked.

Why is this and how can I resolve this please. We need to ocalize into German and other languages. Are there likley to be problems with other languages also?

TIA!

That's your problem ;-)

Sorry, ExceptionInInitializerError means that there is an error in the static block of that class: >> com.ms.wfc.core.WFCSystemException

I guess they are trying to load a properties file/ resource bundle in the static block so make sure its in the right path.
