Attach exchange data files from failed server to recovery storage group

I am trying to recover data from exchange files using a recovery storage group which I have created. I have copied the old server files into the recovery storage folder, run eseutil to repair and defrag them. Now I need to attach them to the recovery storage group but the only option offered to me is the existing mailbox store. Should I select this? If not how should I proceed?

Turns out that that's exactly what you do, then dismount the store and copy your files over the created files. Takes a while for AD to sync before you can mount the new files.
