I was wondering if anyone could send me links in reference to setting up a server with RAID 1 (what software or hardware is needed). The server is just for testing not production. I'm not going to use a store bought server, just a regular computer so I can learn how to implement RAID with a real server. The OS is Windows 2k Sever.

Many of today's mainboards with sata controllers have simple builtin raid 1 capability. If you have such a board, all you need are 2 equal disks, then during bootup start the raid utility through a key combination that brings you into raid controller's bios, then you can build the array. Then you need the accompanying driver floppy to setup w2k server (press f6 prompt).

I previously wrote an article addressing the use of UBCD4WIN and SARDU. All are great, but I have always been an advocate of SARDU. Recently it was suggested that I go back and take a look at Easy2Boot in comparison.
