Help a FrontPage newbie

I've concluded I'm dangerous with FrontPage 2003.  I need help in "connecting" to a website.

On one workstation/website I have FrontPage connected so that as I make changes they happen directly on the website.  No "publishing" is required.  I don't know how I set that up.  I like this set-up.

On another workstation/website I have FrontPage connecting but I am copying/publishing the site to my local workstation.  Although it works, I don't like this set-up.

So can someone remind me how I set-up situation one.  I really want to use FrontPage as a FTP tool so that I can easily move files around ON the site without moving them local, etc.

I need exact instructions so I don't impact any of my other active sites.

Thanks in advance!

Steve

Using FTP can corrupt the FPSE server extensions.

Just go to File - open web and enter the path to the website on the server - i.e. File - Open web - http://www.example.com

Having a local copy though is better because you will have a backup.  Also some FP components that rely on Frontpage Server Extensions need to be published to work properly
