invite people to iCal event

We all know we can create events in iCal and then send invites via email using Apple Mail.

My question is how can I email an invite to an iCal event using Microsoft Entourage 2004 instead of Apple Mail?

Working on panther OS (10.3.9). I have some options, but they both require 10.4 or greater. I'm looking for other options other than upgrading.

Thanks.

Have a look at http://www.zapptek.com/ical-mail/

These were scripts which worked with older versions of Mac OS X and iCal. These might well work for you, or can be easily modified. They basically edit some underlying applescripts which send the invite to an email application as an attachment.

Cheers,

Joel
