disable pointer dot in middle of my laptop keyboard.

on Dell Latitude D820, how do I disable the blue pointer dot in the middle of the keyboard? I hate the thing!

It is in the hardware settings for the touchpad as a checkbox.  You can either go to the Mouse icon in the control panel or use the touchpad icon down by the clock.
