Inetrnet Explorer 7 content advisor

I have a problem with Inetrnet Explorer 7 content advisor wanting a password for every webpage. You can't even get to the Microsoft webpage to do an update. How do I delete the content password. We can get to the web using Firefox so I know that everything else is working fine.  Thanks
