Premiere Pro 2.0 performance in Virtual PC 2007

Is it possible to do video editing in Virtual PC 2007?  The host system would be Vista Ultimate, the virtual pc  OS would be XP pro sp2. I would like to install Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 on the XP virtual pc. If it is possible would the performance even be tolerable?

I also have some other video editing software that may not be Vista compatible but these don't require the resources like PP2 does.

What configuration of Virtual PC would be best - ie. ram allocation, disk space, etc.

I have not yet ordered my system, but the configuration would most likely be the following:
Dual core 2.0 GHz, 2 GB Ram, 500 GB Sata drive, 256 or 512 MB video card, and possibly a second hard drive for Premiere's exclusive use.
