creating a rule on shared inbox

Hi,

I have exchange 2003 sp2. There is an inbox called reservations and is being shared along call centre staff. Is it possible to create a rule within exchage so it will apply to all call centre staff or i will have to create it on every outlook individualy ?

What do you want the rule to do?

Depending on that, you could open outlook directly connected to the reservations mailbox, set the rule there and then see if it sticks (it should, as it will become a server based rule (meaning it will happen even if outlook is closed) depending on what you want it to do).

a simple rule that will direct email from specific address to a specific folder. and yes i want the rule to work even when outlook is closed

That should be fine - connect to the mailbox directly (new profile that only access the shared mailbox) and set the rules there
