Anyone know how to change MTU settings on a comcast provided NETGEAR CG814WGV2 router?

Comcast has a custom interface on this device that is very pretty... but very limited - no place at all to address MTU settings.

Anyone know how to access these on this device?

To the best of my knowledge you can't. That particular model also has custom software by the vendor/s, so Netgear documentation is almost non-existent.

Why do you need to change the MTU? Often changing on the connecting PC is sufficient. That can be done quite easily with the DrTCP tool

packets are being fragmented which is affecting a vpn connection.

We tried DR TCP with no change in the cut off size of the packets.

VPN is a good reason.
Surprised DrTCP didn't make a difference. Though it is usually recommended you change on the PC and router, where the PC generates the packet it usually will be passed along OK.

I think you will need a different router to change the MTU.
