Need some help to plan/do the Exchange 2000 to 2003 upgrade.
We have 3 sites - each site has its own Exchange server.

Main Site : PS04 (Main Server for incoming Email etc)
Remote Site1 : PS21
Remote Site2 : PS30

I have planned to get 3 x New Servers with Exchange/Windows 2003 Server. I have looked at the MSexchange.org 200 to 2003 migration but that is for 1 server but I am happy with those processes.

Which order do I migrate the servers?

Also have Mcafee Groupshield/Spamkiller on the server - will this have to be removed or just installed on the new server once it is moved across?

You have to prep the forest and the domain. Once you have done that, the actual order probably doesn't matter. I would probably do the server that generates the OAB and is generally the lead server - so the main site first. Then migrate the others as time allows. There is no problem with running a mixed site.

My version of the migration guide is here: http://www.amset.info/exchange/migration.asp
