Flash/Actionscript - unloading loadvars file

I am reading a file into flash to get some variables.

data_var = new LoadVars();
data_var.load("text_poll.txt");

The loading is fine and i can read the file.  However since flash loaded the file into the temporary internet files.  Once flash updates the file...it tries to read it again.  However since the there is a temporary file, it reads that one instead of the one in the server.

Is there a way for actionscript to unload loadVars? or is there a way for actionscript to delete a text document from the temporary internet files?

data_var = new LoadVars();
data_var.load("text_poll.txt?cachebuster=" + new Date().getTime());
