Javascript - Changing label background color

I am using javascript and C# ASP.net.  I am wanting to change the color of a label within a function in JavaScript.  It is a specific label that I want to make a specific color within the function.   How can I do this?

Make that:
document.getElementById("LabelId").style.color = "red";
