Mailbox Qouta

I have set up an exchange 2007, now some of the users are getting this message and i am not sure how to deal with this; the error they are getting are"Delivery has failed to these recipients or distribution lists: user1: the recipients mailbox is full and cant accept messages now. Microsoft exchange will not try to redeliver message for you. Please try resending this message later, or contact the recipient policy"
I have also received this message on some of the clients 0*8004060C(Compress your mailbox), so i am not sure if they are both related.

I have tried increasing the Mailbox Quota for the user but thats not helping it, i have changed the mailbox quota under mailbox settings-->storage quotas-->Unchecked mailboxdatabase defaults and defined the user warning, prohibit send and receive, but it didnt fix it.

dont know about 2007, but on 2003 when you changed the limits you had to restart the exchange store (i think it was the store, you could just reboot the server to make sure) before the change would take effect. You did this through services.

Even i deleted the profiles for the users who were having the problem but didnt work out.

Thats the complete error message that i am getting.Whenever i try to send an email  to this user i get a bounce back message with the following error.

I am able to send an email on his other account which is user1@crctourism.com.au, so i think there is either something wrong in AD or Exchange mailbox for this user.

this error appears to be a 550 which is address not found, not related to mailbox size.

make sure that the address is correctly setup with aliases as his other email address works fine.

I figured it out, but i have check everything...but nothings seems to be working i am sure it has to do something with exchange aliases.
