HOW TO MINIMIZE A MAIN-FORM WITHOUT CLICKING MINIMIZE BUTTON

On mainform I have a pop-up frame,  to minimize the mainform I first have to close the frame then
click minimize on form.
What would be syntax if I have a cmd-button on frame and after click I do close frame, but then
also call  something like   " minimize main-form"

you can set forms WindowState = FormWindowState.Minimized
