Sharing scanner on Home Network

I have 2 computers at home. Both computers are running WinXP Professional. With both computer I am sharing the internet connection (broadband) via a LInksys Wireless G Broadband Router. For the time being I am not using the wireless option of the router, but the wired connections. I have 1 printer and 1 scanner connected on one of the computers. I have already configered both computers for file and printer sharing with the option "Netbios over TCP/IP" and the network is working great. My question is if it is possible to also share the scanner with both computers. If it is possible how can I achieve that.

*It is possible only if you have a scanner with sharing feature on (network scanner). If not, you need extra softwares to achieve this. Softwares in following links would help you.
