Dreamweaver site maps disappear

Hello,

I am running OS X 10.4.8 with Dreamweaver 8.0.2.  My Site Maps have just disappeared.  Is there a way I can get them back?  I have repaired my permissions and restarted the computer.  Let me know your thoughts.  Thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi cveggyman,

Disable the Site Maps from the Site Definition and then restart Dreamweaver and re-enable them...

I think I meant to say my Managed Sites.  They have disappeared and I would like to get them back.

Thanks.

Ah-ha.

This is usually due to a corruption or crash and they may be gone for good.  I don't do Mac, so there may be a way to recover them that I'm not aware of, but on a Windows box you are mainly out of luck at this point.

This is why you should periodically export the Site definitions...

Yeah, I figured I was out of luck.  I don't understand why Macromedia never put this information into flat files, instead of the registry.  Hopefully CS3 will change that.
