Windows 2003 workgroup password
Hi,
I have many machines which have been disjoined from the domain and local administrator password changed.Is there a way i can get into the machine.Any way....
This has been done by my former college but now he is not there in the organsation.

Is there any tool to retrive the password or reset it without restarting the computer.

(Never tried this on 2003 server.. But, for XP Pro..)
I frequently use the "Ultimate Boot disk for Windows" (A.K.A. Bart PE)
Once booted to Bart, You call create a new account, add it to the administrators group, boot back into Windows, logon with the new account and reset the Administrators password. Logon as admin and remove the temp account.
Takes about 5 minutes and no "hacking" needed..
