"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Does the problem follow the user to another machine, to OWA?

If it is one user then I would be looking to recreate the user account. Single user issues don't tend to be worth the hassle of troubleshooting very much.
Create a new user account and move the handheld device to it. See if the problem follows. If it does not, then move the content, email address etc to the new account and then hide the old account and forward it to the new account.
