A little background.

I currently have a 4yr B.Sc. in Comp. Sci. and a CISSP designation.  I am looking to write the CISA or CISM.  Which of the CISA or CISM would be a better fit as I want to do both consulting and possibly work in to a management position?

Any help would be appreciated.

Based on the people I know who have the same certification:
CISA if your are mainly going for a consulting.
CISM if you are going for a management position.
If you are not sure: both. Really, I know serveral people who couldn't make the decision and wnet for both.

Do management seriously consider the difference between CISA and CISM?

Depends on the company. If they know the difference. Companies seriously security oriented and having experience with audits would know the difference.
