Is there a way to receive confirmation messages when a fax was successfully sent and received?

Yes.

For SEND
When you send the fax You just have to check that you want to receive a confirmation e-mail.

As for RECEIVE I don't think it's necessary since you can either receive the fax or not receive the fax I don't see the sense of a server telling you something that you already know.

Maybe I misunderstood.
