I already know some people here think that link exchanges dont work, people wont accept it etc etc etc, but i think it does help.  However i have written a short message and emailed it out to related industry and sites that are in the same industry, but not really a threat to us/them...

Anyways i've had no responses as of yet so would somebody be willing to help me write a Link exchange message?

I really don't think that anything that you will say will change their minds.  I get probably 10 a week, and never respond to one of them.  Let them come to you (after all, you are going to them).

Or look for sites that seem to be in that business.  Most of my sites, we don't have links posted or anything.  We don't want people leaving our site for another website.

So consider who you are targeting and change that in your strategy
