Printing email in Outlok 2003 w/IE7 installed gives odd behavior

Hello - this is an odd one...

I have a machine that has Office 2003 and IE7 on it.  The problem is that when the user prints out an email from Outlook 2003, one of two things happen - it will print in a very small font or it will print normally but the header information (To:, From: Subject line) will be missing.  This behavior was consistant for any email (what I mean is that email #1 will always print tiny and #2 would always print without the header info).

It did not matter if the emails were HTML or plain text and I could not find any consistant way to predict how an email would print.

After playing with it a bit, I removed IE7 (back to IE6) and then things we printing normally again.

I have been unable to find a reason for this - has anyone else seen this issue or similar behavior?

Thanks in advance,

Brad

Brad,

Here is the reason why printing causes missing header and tiny font.  It's due to the shrink to fit feature of IE7.  There is a hotfix or it.

Perfect - I didn't find that info in my searching so that was a great link.

Thanks!
