The Add-in "Exchange Scan" (C:\Program Files\Network Associates\VirusScan\scanemal.dll) cannot be loaded and has been disabled by Outlook. Please contact the Add-in manufacturer for an
update. If no update is available, please uninstall the Add-in.

How do I uninstall this add-in? when I go to the add ins page, I don't see it listed.

brokeMyLegBiking,

Go to Tools > Options > Other > Advanced Options > Addin Manager or COMM/Addins and disable the addins.

If addin is not there, close Outlook.  Do a search for and rename extend.dat file. Restart Outlook. This will disable all addins. But you can add the others back.

Extend.dat is located in C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook folder. It is a hidden file, so you have to unhide hidden files. Go to any folder and select Tools > Folders Options > View. Check "Show hidden files and folders". Click OK.

The file extend.dat is actually in C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\LOCAL SETTINGS\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook ...
Not to be picky.....renaming extend.dat worked for me.
