Hi FATICOSWR,

I believe the key you need to edit is:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Settings\MP3Encoding

Then put a value in the LowRateSample value (something invalid)
This will throw an error up when trying to rip music.

Hope this helps!
