RC4 Encrypt/Decrypt

I would like to create two routines, one that would create an encrypted text file and then a second routine to decrypt that file and read its content into variables.

For example, my two variables would appear in a plain text file as:
ID=12
Date=01/01/2008

But I want to encrypt the text file contents before saving the file.  Later in the script I will need to read that file and decrypt it's contents to read those variables.

I would prefer to perform the encryption and decryption in classic ASP.

Thanks in advance for your help.

basically when you do your .WriteLine, (using the code from the above link) you would do something like:

With objTextFile
    .WriteLine(Encrypt(variableName,encryptKey))
End With
0
