VS 2005 Web Project Error Message

When opening a web project in VS2005, the following error message pops up:
"The line endings in the following file are not consistent. Do you want to normalize the line endings?"
The file is a CSS file and line ending reads "CR LF" at the top of a dropdown.
What does that error message mean? How can it be fixed? (The project is done in VB.)
Thanks for any help.

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This is happening because VSS reads files using ANSI encoding and your CSS editor is probably using ISO encoding. "CR LF" ...the carriage return/line feed is seen differently in the 2 encoding schemes.
This is an issue with the IDE's and would not cause any runtime issues with CSS...but I have seen it break SQL scripts...
Normally, I just let VS fix it...and if you do all your mods to the CSS in VS, it won't happen again.
If youre using some other CSS editor, see if there is a way to save the files as ANSI, if not...I wouldn't worry about the error...just let VS fix it every time...
