Free (good) SWF decompiler

Is there a free .SWF decompiler out there ? If so, which is the best one ? I want the source (including the actionscript) of an SWF that I don't have the source for.  Thanks ..

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. I've heard many good things about Sothink SWF Decompiler:

Does anyone know any decompilers that work on OS X?

Hi Gitcho,

Another freebie for you to look at:

Flash Compiler & Decompiler 0.91:

Hope this helps!

Gitcho,

I've also found this application that can convert SWF to FLA for you!

Flash Decompiler 2.9.9.36:

http://www.download.com/Flash-Decompiler/3000-6676_4-10603560.html?tag=lst-0-2

It's $60 to buy, but there are no limitations on the trial version, so it's as good as free!

You may want to look at FLASM: http://flasm.sourceforge.net/ -- it's not just free, it's open source...

While it will not produce a full fledged FLA ready to recompile, if you're just trying to get at the source, it does a mighty fine job of that.
