Computer Browser Service

The Computer Browser service terminated with the following error:
This operation returned because the timeout period expired.

This is an automatic service to start.  Is it needed or not.  We have been having some roaming profile issues and this is what seems to be the issue from what i can tell

The Browser service is what advertises the local host information to the rest of the network - and what searches for other hosts on the network.
Check through all of your Event Viewer logs - particularly for anything related to 'Authentication'.
40961 (or LSASVR) is a typical Event ID when you're having authentication problems.
