I have a VB 6.0 program with CR XI reports that I view with a CRViewer.  The data opens fine, but the export button doesn't do anything.  I'd like to ba able to export to PDF and CSV/XLS.

Thanks in advance.

Is this on a client?

u2fcr.dll, u2fhtml.dll, u2fodbc.dll, u2frec.dll, u2frtf.dll, u2fsepv.dll, u2ftext.dll, u2fwks.dll, u2fwordw.dll, u2fxls.dll

It's the same story on the client and on my machine.  I have CRXI installed.

I believe the export dlls are named CRXF_PDF.DLL for PDF export

Can you export fromthe Crystal designer?

CRXF_PDF.DLL wasn't in my system32 folder.  Now it is, and still no luck.

I can export from the designer.

Did you install it from the CDs?

On my system they are in
Program Files\Common Files\Business Objects\3.0\bin

How did you install?

Can you click the export button on the viewer?

I installed from the CDs on my machine.  On the client machine, I installed with merge modules.  I'm beginning to think my newer merge modules are jacked because on the first beta tester, it still works.

CyrstalReports11_RDC_License.msm
CyrstalReports11_RDC_ReportEngine.msm
CyrstalReports11_RDC_Runtime.msm

I also have crpe32.dll, CRViewer.dll, MSVCR71.DLL, Crystl32.ocx and cslibu-2-0-0.dll.

Sorry for the late reply.

P.S.
I'm also not printing in color, though my printer prints other things in color, and my report displays in color.  Is that a related issue? or should I add another question?

Did you have a previous versionof this application or Crystal on the machine?

Crystl32.ocx hasn't been part of Crystal since CR8.

Color problem - What printer was the report developed with?  If it was a black and white printer then you can't get color from the report.  Open the report in Crystal and select  a color printer.

I did install Solomon at one point on my development machine.  I reinstalled the CR XI today, but no improvement.  I have u2fxls.dll and u2fpdf on my machine, but they all say v 8.  My next step is to uninstall Solomon and reinstall CR XI (again), unless you know something easier.

BTW, your color printer idea seems to be working, thanks.

I uninstalled Solomon, reinstalled CR XI, reran the batch program and (finally) deleted all the u2f dll's from my system32 folder.  That last bit did the trick.  Thanks for all your help.
