Running 10g r2 on Solaris 5.10 64 bit os.  I had some Oracle-suggested backups running that suddenly stopped.  When I looked into EM I found
"Suspended on Agent Unreachable"

I'm running dbcontrol so I don't know why agent is even an issue.  There was never an agent running on these instances as far as I know.
Any notions?

This is Database Control.  I was confused and thought there was no agent but put in the command:

emctl status agent.
It came back saying agent was not running

Then emctl start agent
started the agent.
