Hello,

I have Windows Media services up and running and I know how to embed the player into a webpage and that is all good and working...

But... I go into dreamweaver and insert an image and then I create a new layer on top of that image and position the layer where I want it to be and then paste the media player object code into that layer.

But when I test it it keeps putting the media player at the bottom of the screen under the background image.  I want to be able to position it where I want which is on top of my background image.

I have a background image of a stage with some curtains, just to dress it up a little bit... so I'm almost there, just need to know how to get that layer to stay where it is on top of the background picture.

Thanks!

M.

You need to use style sheet data here, and revise your approach.  If you create a DIV (an area) you can assign the image as the background.  The media player object then simply sits inside this DIV.

You'll need to change the fine details (such as making the height and width the same size as your background image), but it will be something like this:

<div style="border:1px solid black; width:600px; height:500px; background:url(images/myImage.jpg) no-repeat center center;">
   <media player object goes here....>
</div>
