Restore to a PST file?

I've backup dlt tape from 2003, done with backup exec, back of our exchange mailboxes, we did a mailbox level backup, i can see the user mailbox i want to restore in the backexe. Can I restore this to a pst file?

If the user account is still present, you should be able to restore those mails from a brick level backup straight to the user account e-mail.

not an existing user but I've created a dummy account and was able to restore to that.
