This question concerns an Exchange 2000 calander restore.  I have an emploee that wants/needs a restore of his mailbox from 2003/2004.  First is it a big job restoring this data and how can I restore the mailbox now that I am in Exchange 2003?  What am I looking at here??  Any help is appreciated.  thanks

As long as the Exchange 2000 server was on SP3 with the last roll up then you can use the RSG feature of Exchange 2003 to restore the data.

If that doesn't work, then you are looking at a recovery server. That is another server in a new domain. The key elements being the name of the server and the Exchange org name are the same as the the server the backup was taken from.
