Adjusting Brightness Toshiba A55-S326 Keyboard Drivers

Toshiba A55-S326 Laptop

I need the drivers to enable functionality of the Function (Fn) key on the keyboard for adjusting brightness as well as the other Function key combination features.

I've checked out the Toshiba website but haven't yet found anything useful.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello Cristo87:

If you go to the Control Panel - Keyboard - Properties and look at the keyboard driver you may be able to roll it back to a previous (functional) version.

Otherwise, try this site for driver downloads:

I think the driver you need is the        'Hotkey Utilitys for Display Devices'

Aren't these Fn + F[x] key combos hardcoded? I mean, you should be able to adjust brightness and so on even when you're in BIOS setup, no? Did this ever work? Has anything been installed lately that coincides with the malfunction?
