How to set auto pepies for email enable public folder, from the website aa person can email HR and i need to set up tha autoreply to let them know we received the email.

Create the public folder as normal.
Then in Outlook right click on the folder and choose Properties. Click on the tab Administration and then Folder Assistant. You can set the auto reply in there.

However, auto replies are high risk. I would suggest that you auto reply with your own subject line and then configure an additional rule that says if the message contains that subject line (note it is contains, not is equal to, to allow RE and FW in front) then no further rules are processed.

Unfortunately to allow auto replies from public folders that means you have to enable auto replies across the entire Exchange org, which can mean your users can set them up as well.

ESM, Global Settings, Internet Message Format. Right click on the Default and choose Properties. Click on the tab Advanced and enable.
